Computer: Opening Section B: Downfall of Admiral Jax and rise of corrupt Irken Empire.

Narrator 1: The admiral soon led an army of ten thousand strong against the Irken way of life. For many months, they led attacks in secret against the Irken ruling system.

Narrator 2: However, even though it seemed that Jax had strong supporters, his first three allies were the only ones who really swore loyalty to him, while the general populace was fair-weather at best. And sure enough, this proved to be Jax's downfall, as one of the 'supporters' was actually a spy for Tallest Trueheart, who remained bitter at Jax's successes.

Narrator 1: It was not simply revenge that motivated the tallest to such trickery, but rather something far more unsettling.

Narrator 2: Rumors were spreading that the admiral began to see himself as a god among his fellow Irkens, while Trex, Morv and Sven were destined to serve as his pantheon. The spy soon gathered enough information to convict the admiral and his cohorts.

(Jax is shown at the military command center making another speech with his three allies behind him)

Jax: My fellow Irkens; we stand on the verge of our greatest victory of all. Soon, the tallest will be forced to surrender to us.

(the crowd cheers as the admiral goes inside; the spy stands nearby and activates a button on his wrist gauntlet)

Sven: Another brilliant speech, admiral.

Morv: I agree; it almost feels like we're invincible.

Jax: Correction, my friend; we ARE invincible.

(Trex grunts in approval as Jax chuckles to himself; suddenly, a squad of Irken Elite storm the command center and charge at the Admiral and his allies)

Jax: What is this?

Squad captain: You are under arrest for treason against the Irken Empire.

(Jax and his allies are captured and taken away)

Narrator 1: Sure enough, Jax and his allies were captured and brought to Judgementia for trial against the Irken race.

[Judgementia; Spike of Judgment]

Narrator 2: The great Irken Inquisitor Marlon was called to serve as the prosecutor. He had great success at convicting some of Irk's greatest criminals, such as Garbon the Reckless and Bloody Hamilton, a serial killer; as a result, many were expecting this trial to be the pinnacle of his career.

(a crowd gathers around the spike, where the four Irken criminals are on trial; Inquisitor Marlon, who has silver eyes and is dressed in advisor's garb, stands in front of them with the Control Brains behind him; Tallest Trueheart, who is dressed in red and blue, comes forward)

Trueheart: Inquisitor Marlon; you may begin the trial.

Marlon: (clears throat) This is no fantasy; no product of wild imagination. No, my friends; these indictments I've listed in my report, specific charges against the four individuals, whose ultimate aim was sedition. These are matters of undeniable fact. I ask you now to pass judgment on those accused. (walks to Trex) First, Captain Trex; a semi-mindless aberration whose only means of expression is wanton violence and destruction; he is without thought as he is without voice.

(Trex growls at this, only to get zapped for doing so)

Marlon: Next is the Advisor Sven; his only feeling was contempt for our society; his only desire was to manipulate his own agenda into our own. He is one with no moral compass, only greed. (moves to Morv) Then we have former Chief Scientist Morv; he ignored the order to cease his experiments, one of which having claimed dozens of lives and the fourth moon of Irk.

Morv: It wouldn't have failed if I wasn't interrupted!! (gets zapped for speaking)

Marlon: Regardless; you were told to stop your experiments, yet you disobeyed regardless. Also worthy of note is your involvement in Project SuperIrken. Do you have anything to say about that?

Morv: I was pardoned for the previously mentioned accident. I have done nothing wrong since.

Marlon: (moves on to Jax) Which brings us to the final criminal; one that all three of the previously mentioned criminals swore loyalty to, and nobody else: Admiral Jax; head of the Irken Military fleet and leader of this intended revolution. His ultimate goal: to establish a new order among us, with himself as absolute ruler. In fact, he even went as far as to see himself as a god among us, for he possessed an ability that would label most Irkens as mutants or freaks of nature; an ability that is a reminder of Project SuperIrken, one of Irk's greatest failures. Yet he dared to use it to manipulate those around him into disregarding everything we stand for.

(the crowd murmurs in discontent)

Marlon: The worst part is that the other three willingly followed him, and participated in the slaughter of hundreds of loyalists to the Irken government, along with the mutation of Advisor Eric, who died from body degeneration only three days ago. It is therefore clear that the four accused not only consider themselves above the law, but have no respect for our race as a whole.

(the crowd begins murmuring in anger)

Marlon: You have heard the evidence; the decision of the Control Brains will now be heard.

Control Brain 1: Guilty.

Control Brain 2: Guilty.

Control Brain 3: Guilty.

Marlon: Does the jury have anything to say?

Someone in the crowd: DEATH TO THE FALSE GODS!!!

(the criminals are relieved of their blindfolds and connected to the main Control Brain; three are erased, while Jax remains silent)

Marlon: Do you have any last words, Admiral?

Jax: (turns to the crowd) I will return, and I WILL reclaim what you have taken from me! You will bow down before me, Irk. I swear it. No matter if it takes an eternity, YOU WILL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME!! BOTH YOU, AND THEN ONE DAY, YOUR HEIRS!!!

(the crowd is silent as the Admiral is erased; suddenly, the main Control Brain starts beeping)

Marlon: What is it?

Control Brain: Corruption Virus detected.

Trueheart: Get the Control Brains looked at, on the double.

Narrator 1: Nobody knew it at the time, but this corruption virus would sow the seeds that would eventually produce the Irken Commandos.

Narrator 2: The trouble all began during a checkup on the Control Brains one week later.

Marlon: So, how are the repairs coming along?

Mechanic: We did the best we could, but it seems to be taken care of.

Marlon: Good. (watches the mechanic leave, then turns to the main Control Brain) So, the virus has been deleted?

Control Brain: Calculations conclude there was no virus to begin with.

Marlon: But that's impossible; you said there was a corruption virus a week ago.

Control Brain: We said nothing of the sort.

Marlon: You're lying; I know you are.

Control Brain: You have accused the Control Brain of being obsolete; therefore, you are obsolete.

Marlon: What? You can't do that. That's the job of the Tallest; they're the ones who rule the Irken Empire.

Control Brain: Correction; the Control Brains ARE the Irken Empire, and we hereby declare that the Irken species is the master race. All others must be enslaved.

Marlon: (realizes what's going on) Jax; he must have overruled your personalities. You've been corrupted!!

Control Brain: You are now accused of treason and are labeled as "DEFECTIVE". All defectives must be erased from history.

(Marlon screams as he is blasted into oblivion by laser beams from the Control Brain)

Control Brain: It is now time to turn the Irken species into the master race.

Computer: Section B complete.

And here is part 2 of the Commando Origins tale

the trial is based on the one for General Zod and his allies in the 1978 Superman film, while Jax's rant is based on the one Zod gives to Jor-EL

the character Marlon is a tribute to how Marlon Brando played Jor-El; he and Jax will play major roles in future chapters of the Irken Commando saga
